Breakfast Club and Midday Supervisory Assistant

Working pattern: Term time only

Hours per week: 11 hours per week (7.15am – 9.00am and 11:45am – 1:15pm) Monday to Friday

Salary: Grade 2 Level 1-4 (£13.45 per hour) paid pro-rota

St Oswald’s CE Primary School are seeking to recruit a friendly, caring, reliable person to join our small team of breakfast club and Mid-day supervisor assistants.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a positive, calm manner
  • Can use their own initiative
  • Is able to work as part of a team
  • Is proactive in promoting children’s wellbeing and able to provide a warm welcome to pupils at the start of each school day
  • Is proactive in promoting children’s play

In return, we offer you the chance to work within our lovely school setting as part of the Early Birds and lunch time team, with fantastic pupils and staff.

Local Authority Governor Vacancy

We are seeking applications from members of our local community who are interested in becoming a Local Authority Governor and helping to shape the future of our school.

School governors play a vital role in supporting and challenging the leadership of the school. They help to set the school’s strategic direction, monitor its performance, and ensure that every child receives the best possible education.

We welcome applications from people with a range of backgrounds, skills and experiences. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people and who can contribute their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to our governing board.

The role is voluntary and offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference to the school and the wider community. Training and support are provided.
