Deputy Headteacher

St Oswald’s CE Primary School are seeking to recruit an outstanding deputy headteacher who will support the school’s strong values and Christian ethos, and provide dynamic leadership to help us to achieve our vision of ‘Learning for all, caring for each other, preparing for the future’. This post will have a 0.6 teaching commitment.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of high-quality teaching in EYFS and/or KS1.
  • Enthuses and engages pupils and staff through creative and inspirational teaching and leadership.
  • Has a proven track record of achieving sustained improvement in the quality of provision and outcomes for children.
  • Is a caring and nurturing leader, dedicated to pupil and staff wellbeing.
  • Will work closely alongside the headteacher and senior leadership team to lead, motivate and support staff to achieve excellence across and beyond the curriculum.
  • Will live out our school values and be a role model to all.
